Xorgone Harmony Gourd — The Wu Lou, Made Testable

An old shape, made testable.

Across Chinese folk practice, the gourd — 葫芦, wu lou — is the vessel you hang when something in the house needs absorbing. Its wide base and narrow neck are said to draw misfortune in and keep it there. You’ll still find one above the door of shops and homes across Asia today.

We didn’t invent that. What we did was cast the shape in orgone and hand you a way to check whether it does anything at all.

Run the same test

1. Pick a spot that feels heavy — near the front door is the classic starting point.
2. Stand on one leg, arms straight out. Have a partner press down steadily on your upper arm. Hold your ground; don’t let yourself wobble.
3. Place the gourd nearby and repeat — same leg, same arm, same partner, same pressure.

That’s it. Ten seconds, and you have your own answer instead of ours.

• Near the main entrance — the traditional placement, and the most common.
• In the centre of the home — if you want one piece doing general duty.
• The bedroom — the gourd is historically associated with health and longevity.

How it’s made

Hand-cast and polished in small batches, with crystal inclusions set into the resin. Each one is numbered by hand. The shape does the work people have always asked of it; the core is what makes it checkable.
